On 19–20 October 2026, the 5th Central European Technology Forum – CETEF’26 took place at the Poznań University of Technology Conference and Lecture Centre. One of the key events dedicated to advanced technologies, innovation and science–business cooperation, the forum brought together representatives of academia, industry and innovation support institutions. The Center for Research Programmes of the EU (CPB UE) at the Institute of Fundamental Technological Research, Polish Academy of Sciences (IPPT PAN), actively participated in the event, showcasing its projects and opportunities for supporting innovation.
Held under the theme “High Technologies for European Security”, this year’s forum featured expert discussions, presentations of innovative solutions and networking opportunities focused on the challenges and future directions of Europe’s technological development.
CPB UE IPPT PAN was present at CETEF’26 with two information stands, showcasing four initiatives: Innovation Coach, PREMIERE, widerAdvance Facility and the Horizontal Contact Point (HPK). Visitors had the opportunity to learn about the projects, explore the support they offer and discuss opportunities for cooperation and innovation development directly with project representatives.
CPB UE representatives also took part in the CETEF’26 Podcast Zone, where they discussed the presented projects, their objectives and the opportunities they offer to businesses and the research community.
Participation in CETEF’26 provided an opportunity to showcase the activities of CPB UE IPPT PAN, exchange experiences and establish new connections with representatives of academia, industry and the wider innovation ecosystem.
We would like to thank the organisers and everyone who visited our stands and joined us for discussions.
