On 21–22 October 2026, Warsaw will host the nationwide conference “Research – Development – Innovation. Horizon Europe and a New Era of European Competitiveness”, organised by the National Contact Point for EU Research Programmes at the National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR). The EU Research Projects Centre (CPB UE) will also take part in the event.
The two-day conference will provide an opportunity to discuss key directions in the development of European research programmes, the future of research and innovation, as well as funding opportunities available under Horizon Europe.
The programme will include discussions on synergies, complementary funding and support mechanisms for Polish applicants, a debate on the future of European research, innovation and technology, as well as insights and experiences shared by Polish project coordinators.
On the second day, participants will be able to join parallel thematic sessions focusing, among other topics, on opportunities offered by the European Innovation Council (EIC) and Horizon Europe clusters, as well as on increasing Poland’s participation in Horizon Europe projects.
The conference is addressed to representatives of universities, scientific and research institutions, businesses, public and private organisations, NGOs, and anyone interested in participating in international research and development projects.
